Hot Springs

One of the destinations is Klong Thom Waterfall. While the waterfall itself cascades gently for a few meters, it holds a unique secret. The spring water feeding it emerges from the earth at a scorching temperature greater than 50 degrees Celsius. As the spring water flows to the cascade, it gradually cools, offering a cooling spot below where you can enjoy a bath. This natural hot spring experience amidst the forest’s embrace is rejuvenating and gives the perfect start to our adventure through Krabi’s jungle.

Emerald Pool

Next, we continue with a short trek to reach the Emerald Pool (also known as the Crystal Lagoon). Located within the Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve, this 120-square-meter freshwater pond is a natural wonder. The waters of the pool have beautiful green hues thanks to the minerals from the limestone hills nearby. This oasis is perfect for a refreshing swim.

Tiger Cave Temple

Our adventure ends at Tiger Cave Temple, or Wat Tahm Suea. The temple gets its name from a nearby rock formation that looks like a tiger’s claw. If you’re up for the challenge, there are 1,239 steps to reach the top on this trail. Up here, there’s a panoramic view of the Krabi and the surrounding landscape. Itinerary

Our driver will pick you up in an air-conditioned minivan between 08:00 - 09:00, depending on your location in Krabi. A more accurate time frame will be sent to you once we get your booking details.

We'll take a short hike through the jungle to reach the Emerald Pool. You can use the public bathrooms to get into your swimming suit and enjoy the cooling water in mesmerizing blue colors.

Next are the hot springs near Khlong Thom Waterfall. The water is heated deep below the earth and reaches 50 degrees Celsius at the spring. As water cascades down through different pools, the water slowly cools. Enjoy a healthy hot spring bath here.

If you booked lunch (optional for THB 150/person), our next stop will be a restaurant for a tasty Thai-style lunch. We have several different dishes (vegetarian and halal available). If you have any food allergies or requirements, please let us know in advance so we can prepare accordingly for you.

The last stop is the Tiger Cave Temple. You can choose to visit the temple to feed the monkeys, or trek up 1,239 steps all the way to the viewpoint. From here you have a lovely view of the area around the temple.

At the end of the day, it's time to head back to your hotel. Our driver will take you there by air-conditioned minivan. The private Krabi jungle tour to the hot springs, Emerald Pool and Tiger Cave Temple ends here. You should arrive no later than 17:00 to your hotel.

You can add lunch for THB 150/person. We serve a Thai-style lunch near one of the stops during the Krabi jungle tour. The location depends on how busy it is at those stops. We will serve rice, omelets and typical Thai dishes like Pad Thai or a curry. Vegetarian and halal options are available.

Yes, as long as they are in good health. The jungle treks are short, but be aware that the paths are slippery when it's raining. The trek up to the top of Tiger Cave temple (1,239 concrete steps) might be too much for young children, people with health issues or elderly persons. For those it is better to enjoy the temple down the stairs.

The best time to do this tour is after the rainy season between November - March. Temperatures are mild during this time. April and May can be very hot, while the rainy season between June - October can be very wet. The tour does run every day, no matter the weather conditions.

The national park fees are mandated by the Thai government and used for maintenance and to keep the national parks in Thailand clean and accessible. The law orders that these payments can only be taken in cash on arrival at the park entry. We collect these payments in cash and hand them over to government officials on entry to the national park.

The private Hot Spring & Emerald Pool + Tiger Cave Temple tour will run during rainy days if the water is calm enough. If that is not the case, we will reschedule the trip for a calmer day or refund you the deposit (if any).

You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date, no questions asked. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.

A deposit is required for all private tours if you chose to pay cash on tour option. After you submit your booking, we will send you an email with deposit payment instructions. Please note that your booking is not confirmed until we receive the deposit. This deposit helps us secure the van and arrange all services specifically for your group.
