Our first destination on this adventure takes us deep into the Krabi forest, approximately 40 kilometers south of Krabi Town, to the enchanting Klong Thom Waterfall. While the waterfall itself cascades gently for a few meters, it holds a unique secret. The spring water feeding it emerges from the earth at a scorching temperature exceeding 50 degrees Celsius. As the spring water flows to the cascade, it gradually cools, offering a cooling spot below where you can enjoy a nice bath. This natural hot spring experience amidst the forest’s embrace is both invigorating and rejuvenating, providing the perfect start to our day-long adventure through Krabi’s jungle.
Emerald Pool
Our journey continues with a short trek through the dense jungle to reach the Emerald Pool, also known as the Crystal Lagoon. Nestled within the Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve, this 120-square-meter freshwater pond is a natural wonder. The waters of the pool take on a mesmerizing green hue, owing to the abundant minerals sourced from the limestone hills that surround it.This picturesque oasis is perfect for a refreshing swim, allowing you to escape the heat of the day.
Tiger Cave Temple
Our adventure ends at the beautiful Tiger Cave Temple, known locally as Wat Tahm Suea, about 3 kilometers from Krabi Town. The temple gets its name from a rock formation nearby, which resembles a tiger’s claw. The trail to the top has 1,239 steps. From here you will have a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Book your Hot springs, Emerald Pool and Tiger Cave temple adventure here!

Itinerary
Our driver will pick you up in an air conditioned minivan between 08:00 and 09:00, depending on your location. Our first stop of the day is the Emerald Pool.
On arrival at the Emerald pool you can take a short hike through the jungle to reach the pool. You can use the bathrooms to get into your swimming suit and enjoy the cooling water in mesmerizing blue colors.
Our next stop of the day are the hot springs. The water is heated deep below the earth and reaches 50 degrees celsius at the spring. Because it is cascading down through different pools, the water slowly cools down. Enjoy a healthy hot spring bath here.
Our next stop will be a tasty Thai lunch. We have several different dishes available, catering for vegetarian and halal dishes as well. If you are vegan, please let us know during checkout so we can prepare accordingly.
The last stop of the day is the Tiger Cave temple. You can choose to visit just the temple or feed the monkeys, or take the 1239 steps all the way up to the viewpoint. From here you have a lovely view of the area around the temple.
At the end of the day it's time to head back to your hotel. Our driver will take you there by air conditioned minivan. The Krabi jungle tour to the hot springs, emerald pool and Tiger cave temple ends here. You should arrive no later than 17:00 at your hotel.

Yes, this tour is suitable for young children or elderly persons, as long as they are in good health. The jungle treks are short, but be aware that the paths can be slippery when it's raining. The trek up to the top of the Tiger Cave temple (1239 concrete steps) might also be too much for young children, people with health issues or elderly persons. For those it is better to enjoy the temple down the stairs.

The national park fees are mandated by the Thai government and used for maintenance and to keep the national parks in Thailand clean and accessible. The law orders that these payments can only be taken in cash on arrival at the park entry. We collect these payments in cash and hand them over to government officials on entry to the national park.
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date, no questions asked. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.

My sister and I had a good time on our trip to the hot springs and the Emerald Pool. The hot springs were pleasant and really relaxing.
The guides were great. I felt well-informed about the process, received a lot of guidance, and all the staff, including the minibus driver, were very friendly. The minibus was very comfortable.
