Itinerary
The kayaking tour at Klong Rud (or Klong Root) starts with a pickup from your hotel. Free round trip transfers are offered from Ao Nang. From Krabi Ton, Klong Muang and Tub Kaek there is a surcharge of THB 100/person. We'll pick you up at 08:30, 13:00 or 15:30 and head to Klong Rud.
On arrival at the pier, it's time to get into your kayak. There is a maximum of 3 persons per kayak. We follow the guide over the crystal-clear freshwater lake onto Klong Namsai. Enjoy the views over the lake!
After the kayaking trip we enter the lagoon for some swimming in the fresh water. Cool down and take a lovely swim here.
After swimming, we head to the pier where you can enjoy a natural fish spa and feed the many fish at Klong Rud. We will serve cold water and fresh fruits here as well.
The kayaking tour at Klong Rud ends with a return transfer to your hotel. Depending on your location, you should arrive there about 30 minutes later.

Yes, this tour is suitable for beginners. Our guides are always present to help you out in case of issues. You don't need prior kayaking experience to be able to join this tour.
Meals are not included with the Klong Root kayaking tour. At Klong Root are several stands and restaurants to grab a snack or drink if you want. Water and fresh fruits are included in the tour price.
Yes, children aged 4 and above can join the kayaking at Klong Root as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Please note that the adult will need to do most of the heavy lifting, so it's a good idea to place them together with a strong adult who will do the kayaking.
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date. That means you need to cancel no later than 23:59, 2 days before the tour date. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.
