Basic restroom facilities are available on the main Hong island only. Pleas  don’t expect something fancy: they are limited and less developed than you are probably used to.

Yes sure! The Hong islands are open year round. Please keep in mind that the best time to visit is between november and march, when seas are calm and the skies are usually clear. During the rainy season from May – October it can be anything: from sunny days to weeks with non stop rain. That shouldn’t stop you from visiting though: in every season the Hong islands look beautiful!

Yes, the islands are very suitable for a visit with (small) children. The boat trip is relatively short (20-30 minutes) and the waters at the beaches are shallow. The kids will love playing around in the water, going snorkeling or swimming. The Hong islands are a must see for everyone visiting Ao Nang and Krabi province.

No, there are no accommodation options on any of the islands. You can only stay on the island during the day and must leave before sunset.

Yes, visitors are required to pay an entrance fee to visit the islands. It’s currently set at THB 300 per adult and THB 150 per child. Infants up until 3 years old can enter for free. The fee includes the maintenance of the facilities on the islands and is there so locals can keep the islands clean and safe.
