Description
Visit the beautiful Hong Islands during your stay in Krabi & Ao Nang! This one-day tour by speedboat takes you to 5 different locations, all especially beautiful: Hong Island, Hong Lagoon, Pakbia Island, Lao Lading Island, and Lao Ka Island. The Hong Island tour includes hotel transfers, transport by speedboat, a Thai-style lunch, drinks and fresh fruits, snorkeling gear, accident insurance and an English-speaking guide. If you want, you can also add a kayaking adventure at the end of the day. The tour is suitable for all ages. Children are welcome to join and as the Hong Islands are just 20 minutes away from Ao Nang, it’s an easy boat ride for your little ones.

We start the day with a pickup from your hotel or villa. Our driver will bring you to the start point at Nopparat Thara Pier, from where we board the speedboat. One of the stops is Pakbia Island. Feel the soft sand beneath your feet and soak up the sun on the beautiful sandy beaches.
Next on the Hong Island tour are Lao Lading and Lao Ka Islands, where you can explore the shoreline and enjoy the lovely atmosphere. Snorkeling gear is provided by the crew, so you can explore the underwater world as well. We then make our way to the most famous stop of the day: the Hong Islands.
Large Hong Islands
Hong Lagoon is first, which is surrounded by huge limestone cliffs. You can go for a swim from the boat or stay on board for some magical pictures. The Hong Island tour then continues to the breathtaking Hong Island, where a delicious lunch awaits. You will also receive fresh fruits on board. If you want, you can also make the steep climb up to the viewpoint. Or enjoy the surroundings from your kayak as you paddle around Hong Island. Please note that kayaking can be added to the booking as it’s not for everyone.

What to Expect on the Hong Islands speedboat tour
The Hong Islands tour is a wonderful day out for young and old. Children can enjoy the shallow waters, play with the sand or go snorkeling. If you feel fit, it’s a nice but very steep walk up to the viewpoint. From there you will have an amazing bird’s eye view of all the islands. Kayaking can be added to the booking and happens at Hong Island. A maximum of 2 persons per kayak can join the trip, which is not difficult to do and suitable for all ages.
Itinerary
If you are staying in Krabi Town, Klong Muang, or Tub Kaek, we'll pick you up from your hotel at 07:30 - 08:00. Please be ready at your hotel reception a few minutes ahead of time to ensure a smooth pickup.
The pickup time frame for our guests staying in Ao Nang is 08:00 - 09:00. The exact pickup time depends on your location. We will send you a more precise pick-up time once the booking is confirmed.
At 9:00, we depart from Nopparat Thara Pier by speedboat. Put on a life vest and let's head to Hong Islands from here!
If we have any guests staying at Railay, our speedboat heads to Railay East Pier first for a short stop to pick them up at around 09:15.
One of the stops is Lao Lading Island, also known as Paradise Island. This is a perfect spot for swimming or snorkeling. You might even see the local birds’ nest collectors.
Visit another picturesque island with quiet beaches and crystal-clear waters. Snorkel, go sightseeing, or relax on the beach here.
Next, we'll take a break on the quiet beaches of Pakbia. See the beautiful sandbars that show up when the tide is low, creating temporary bridges to the other islands. Relax, wander around, and just take in the beauty here.
We will head to a small group of tropical islands, which is called Hong (room) Island. Here, you can enjoy various activities like swimming, sunbathing, and kayaking (available only for customers booked in advance). If you want, you can climb to the top of the viewpoint for a breathtaking 360-degree scenery of the Hong Islands. Back on the beach a tasty lunch box filled with Thai cuisine is served.
Our journey continues into the 'Secret' Hong Lagoon. Tucked away behind two majestic cliffs, the lagoon's calm waters will be our silent companion as we cruise gently through, enveloped by the island's natural splendor.
At 15:00, it's time to board on speedboat again for our return journey back to the pier.
On arrival, our drivers will be waiting for you to bring you back to your hotel. The speedboat tour to the Hong Islands ends here.

For lunch we prepare a Thai-style lunch buffet for you. Vegetarian and halal options are available, please let us know during checkout if you have special dietary wishes.
We can pick you up from Ao Nam Mao pier, which is the first stop coming from Railay by longtail boat. On the way back, you can take one of the longtail transfer boats back to Railay (not included in the price).
No, you cannot. The movement from the speedboat may be harmful for your unborn child. That's why we don't allow pregnant women to board.
The viewpoint is a long steep climb up 400 steps and is definitely not suitable for everyone. If you're young and in good health, it shouldn't be a problem. For young children and older or sick persons, the climb up will be too difficult.
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date, no questions asked. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.
