Description
Are you visiting Krabi, Ao Nang or surroundings and do you want to see what the mainland is about? This Krabi jungle tour to the Emerald Pool and Hot Springs is just for you! This half day tour starts with a pickup in the morning from your hotel in Krabi Town, Ao Nang, Klong Mueang or Tub Kaek and takes 6-7 hours. We will visit the Emerald Pool, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim (bring your swimming suit and towel) and Hot springs, where you can enjoy a mineral bath from hot water springs deep below the surface. Transport is by comfortable minivan with air-conditioning, and our guide will be present to help you with any questions you may have. The pickup starts at 07:45 (please scroll down to see a more precise time for your location) and by 14:30 – 15:00 you should be back in your hotel. Our first stop of the day is the Emerald Pool. This natural pool can be found in the Thung Teao Forest Natural Park. The journey to the Emerald Pool is an adventure in itself, taking you through dense jungles and winding pathways that lead to a beautiful natural crystal-clear pool. First, we take a short walk through the dense forest on a wooden pathway towards the water. You will definitely know you’re there once you see the clear turquoise water that seems almost surreal against the backdrop of the jungle.
Enjoy the surroundings and be sure to experience the water as well! Take a refreshing dip and feel the stress of everyday life melt away. The water is comfortably warm, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and rejuvenation. The pool is also known for its therapeutic properties, believed to soothe and invigorate the body.
Hot Springs
After enjoying the Emerald Pool, we continue by air-conditioned minivan to the nearby Krabi Hot Spring, offering a complete contrast to our first stop. Here, the natural wonder is not a pool of water but a warm spring that bubbles up from deep below the surface.
The Krabi Hot Spring is a series of natural thermal baths formed by the flow of warm underground water. The water’s mineral-rich content is believed to have healing properties, making it a perfect getaway if you are looking for relaxation and wellness. As you sit in one of the stone-carved bathtubs, you’ll feel the lovely warmth of the water. This sensation is incredibly soothing and has a calming effect on the senses. The natural minerals in the water are said to have therapeutic benefits, making this experience not just enjoyable but also beneficial for your well-being. What to Expect on the Emerald Pool & Hot Spring Waterfall Tour
Join us for a wonderful half-day trip that lasts about 7 hours. Enjoy a comfortable ride in an air-conditioned minivan with an English-speaking guide to assist you. We provide drinking water, and you’re also covered with insurance for your peace of mind.
Please note that the cost to enter the Emerald Pool and Hot Spring waterfall, known as national park fees, is not included in the package. These fees are set by the government and help maintain and clean the national parks in Thailand. You can easily pay these fees in cash when the driver picks you up from your hotel.
This trip is great for families. Good news – young children or infants between 1-3 years old can join for free when accompanied by a parent and seated on their lap. Join us and make beautiful memories together!
Itinerary
Our professional driver will collect you from your hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan. The pickup time depends on the location of your stay in Krabi.
We will begin our half-day tour with a visit to a hot spring waterfall. Enjoy a mineral rich bath here and make your way down the different baths to experience cooler water.
The next stop is the Emerald Pool. We visit the beautiful Blue Lagoon. There will be bathroom facilities for you to comfortably change into your swimwear. Jump in and enjoy the refreshing and cool water of the Emerald Pool in its beautiful surroundings.
At the end of the tour, our driver will bring you back to your hotel safely. Our team remains available for any assistance or inquiries you might have during the return trip.

The Emerald Pool & Hot Spring Tour is suitable for all ages, making it a perfect excursion for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. Young kids of ages 1-3 can join the trip for free of charge if they sit on one of their guardians' laps.
Yes, additional costs apply. The tour package does not include the entrance fees to the Emerald Pool (THB 400/adult, 200 THB/child) and Hot Springs (THB 200/adult, 100 THB/child). The fees are free for infants between 1-3 years old. The entrance fees can be settled in cash upon your hotel pickup.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Our tour package does not include meals, so please feel free to prepare accordingly for your convenience and enjoyment. At both stops you will also be able to buy snacks and drinks.
The Half Day Emerald Pool & Hot Spring Waterfall Tour will run during rainy days if the water is calm enough. If that is not the case, we will reschedule the trip for a calmer day or refund you the deposit (if any).
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date, no questions asked. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.

The Half Day Emerald Pool & Hot Spring Waterfall Tour was a mixed experience, but definitely with some highlights. The hot springs were by far the best part—very relaxing and soothing! The minivan pick-up was smooth and easy, which set the tone for a comfortable day.
The Emerald Pool, however, was much too crowded, and the water didn’t feel as clean as expected. The edges of the pool were very slippery, making it hard to get in and out safely. I highly recommend wearing the rubber coral socks you should get yourself, as they help prevent to get hurt on rocks for instance. There’s also a small staircase in the middle of the pool that makes getting in and out a lot easier.
The walk to the Blue Lagoon was pleasant, but you’re only given time to take photos, not swim, as the sand there sinks.
The tour ended with a stop at a large restaurant for a light meal. It wasn’t anything amazing, but it was a good opportunity to relax and refuel.
Overall, the hot springs were amazing, but the crowded Emerald Pool and limited time at the Blue Lagoon held the tour back a bit. Still, a solid experience!
