Welcome to one of the most favorite day trip destinations from Ao Nang & Krabi: the Hong Islands! And what is the best way to visit them? By private speedboat! The islands are located about 20 minutes away from Ao Nang and consist of 4 main locations: Hong Island, Hong Lagoon, Pakbia Island and Lading Island. Each stop has something unique. We make a few snorkeling stops and you can visit the islands in your own pace. As it’s a private tour, you can decide on the contents and order of the itinerary.

Itinerary
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel between 09:00 - 09:30.
We bring you to Nopparat Thara Pier, which is close to Ao Nang. Here we board the private speedboat and make our way to the Hong Islands. As it's a private tour, changes to the itinerary are not a problem!
Hong Lagoon is a must-visit, as it is a beautiful and serene laguna between high karst rock formations. It is mainly interesting for sightseeing, but you're welcome to jump off the boat for a refreshing swim.
The main attraction of this tour is the actual Hong Island. In Thai, the name means 'room' and when you get there, you will understand why. The bay is almost sealed off by large rock formations. The beach is powdery white. Go swimming in the crystal-clear waters or relax on the beach here. If you want, you can walk all the way up to a viewpoint (419 steps in total) with a 360-degree view of all the islands we're visiting today!
If you have researched this location a bit, you will know that this island is famous for its swing overlooking the high rocks and ocean in the background. It's a relaxing place to stroll around and go for a swim if you want to.
Pakbia Island is a small island that can't be missed during your private Hong Island tour by speedboat. We make a stop here for swimming and sightseeing.
This island is stunning with swaying palm trees, limestone cliffs, and the clear light blue sea. You can relax and snorkel here.
At 15:00 it’s time to leave the beautiful Hong islands. Our private speedboat takes you back to the pier on the mainland.
Our drivers are waiting here to bring you back to your hotel. You should arrive there no later than 16:00.

You can either bring your own food, eat at one of the restaurants on Hong Island, or we can provide a Thai style lunch box (vegetarian and halal options available). The extra costs are THB 100/person. Please leave a remark on checkout if you want to include food to the booking.
Yes you can! For an extra fee of THB 1000, our boat can head to Railay Floating Pier at Railay East. We can pick you up from there. Please head to the end of the pier when it's time for your pickup.
Unfortunately you can't. The speedboats can be unstable when the wind is strong. The movements are not suitable for an unborn child, therefore we don't allow pregnant women on board.
The best time to visit the Hong Islands is just after the rainy season, which ends in November. Temperatures are pleasant during the months November - March, and the seas are usually calm. The blue skies are perfect for photo opportunities during these months.
Absolutely! The Hong Islands are not too far away from Ao Nang (20 minutes by speedboat), and there is enough to see and do on the way. Your children will love snorkeling and playing in the shallow waters on the beach. We think that this is one of the best private tours to do with kids while staying in Krabi.
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date. That means you need to cancel no later than 23:59, 2 days before the tour date. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.

Please note that your booking is not confirmed until we receive the deposit. This deposit helps us secure the boat and arrange all services specifically for your group. Lovely trip to the Hong islands. I wasn’t planning to leave a good review because our entry to Hong island got cancelled because a member of the royal family showed up (and everyone had to leave), but we had an amazing trip nonetheless. The captain was friendly and made our day. The islands are really beautiful and we have just been snorkeling and relaxing the whole day. It’s wort the money if showing up with let’s say 5 persons or more. Thanks for organising it!
