Description
One of the most favourite tours in Krabi is the 7 islands sunset tour. This trip is jam packed with activities and sights. You will visit 7 islands during this trip, including Phra Nang, Railay, Chicken island, Puya bay, Tup island, Koh Tan Ming island and Poda island. For a once in a lifetime experience you will also be swimming in luminescent plankton. This is a very special activity as it can only be done in just a few places around the world. The tour can be booke with either a traditional longtail boat or speedboat (+THB 300 per person).

What to expect during the 7 island tour in Krabi
This afternoon sunset tour to the 7 islands is the best way to see the islands in the national park, go swimming with luminescent plankton and enjoy a tasty BBQ on the beach. This trip has it all: snorkeling, swimming, relaxing and sightseeing. Watch the sun set on the beach and when it’s getting dark you will be able to swim with plankton that magically turns bright blue. It doesn’t hurt but can be a tingling sensation as you swim in it. It’s a great photo oppoprtunity so be sure to bring a camera! Dinner is served with a buffet BBQ. If you wish to have vegetarian food, please let us know during checkout, so we can prepare accordingly.

We will send you a pcikup time estimation by email. Our driver will pick you up from the reception, from where we head towards Ao Nam Mao Pier for the 7 island tour by longtail boat.
Our first stop of the day is Koh Tan Ming island. Here you can go snorkeling at the small island next to Poda island. We'll also visit Koh Si, a rocky island with many underwater caves and reefs.
This beach is great for some relaxing and swimming.
We'll go snorkeling at Chicken island, where you can find some of the best reefs. Do you recognize the shape of the island?
We'll head over to Tup island where we enter the beach. This is one of the best photo opportunities of this trip. Walk over the natural sandbank that connects 2 islands. An amazing location with views that come straight out of a magazine.
At Poda island (one of the largest around here), you can visit the beach for some relaxing and swimming in crystal clear water.
We visit both Railay beach and Phra Nang Cave, Relax on the beach and enjoy a tasty sunset BBQ buffet here.
After dinner it's time to go swimming with plankton. Enjoy an early evening swim with bright blue plankton around you.
Enjoy a fire show on the arrival pier when we get back to Krabi. Our drivers will be waiting for you here. When the fire show ends, we will bring you back to your hotel. A day full of sights and memories never to forget!

For dinner you can expect a delicious Thai style BBQ buffet. You’ll have several (halal) choices like a curry, pad thai, stir fried, rice, fish and meat. The food is halal. If you have any specific food allergies, please let us know prior to booking this tour.
Yes you can. Visitors from Railay can join the tour by coming to the end of Railay East pier (the floating pier) between 13:30-14:00. We will drop you off there as well as it is the last stop. If you are styaying at Centara Grand Resort, you can take the hotel shuttle boat to Ao Nam Mao pier, from where we can pick you up. A reservation might be necessary.
The best time to visit the 7 islands is after the rainy season when the waters are calm. This is usually the case between november and march, but weather conditions may vary. You’ll find clear waters during the hot season in april and may, but make sure to bring sun screen as it can be very hot!
Yes, it is totally safe. They are miniscule animals and swimming with them feels a bit weird at the start. It can give you a bit of a rash sensation on your skin, but that will be gone the moment you get out of the water. The stunning views of the bright blue colors is absolutely worth it.
Yes, small children are welcome to join this tour. Please note that it may be difficult for very small children to get in and out of the longtail boat, as well as for elderly persons.

The tour itself is nice, many stops and a nice mix of activities with snorkeling and swimming. It was busy during our stay though, as anywhere in Ao Nang. It feels a bit cramped at certain locations. Would definitely do this tour, but in low season.
