Description
7 Islands Sunset tour is one of the most favourite tours in Krabi. This trip is jam-packed with activities and sights. You will visit 7 Islands during this trip, including Chicken Island, Tup Island, Mor Island, Poda Island, Tang Ming Island, Railay Beach, and the bioluminescent plankton swimming site. For a once in a lifetime experience you will also be swimming with bioluminescent plankton. This is a very special activity as it can only be done in just a few places around the world. The tour can be booked with either a traditional longtail boat or speedboat (+THB 200/person).

What to expect during the 7 Islands tour in Krabi
This afternoon sunset tour to the 7 Islands is the best way to see the islands in the national park, go swimming with bioluminescent plankton and enjoy a tasty BBQ. This trip has it all: snorkeling, swimming, relaxing and sightseeing. Watch the sun set on the beach and when it’s getting dark you will be able to swim with plankton that magically turns bright blue. It doesn’t hurt but can be a tingling sensation as you swim in it. It’s a great photo opportunity so be sure to bring a camera! Dinner is served with a BBQ. If you wish to have vegetarian food, please let us know during checkout, so we can prepare accordingly.
Itinerary
We will send you a pickup time estimation by email. A more accurate pickup time frame will be confirmed based on your location in Krabi. If you're in Krabi Town, Klong Muang, or Tub Kaek, we'll pick you up between 12:00 - 13:00.
For our guests staying in Ao Nang, we'll pick you up during this time frame. Our driver will pick you up from the reception, from where we head towards Ao Nam Mao Pier for the 7 Islands tour.
If you are staying near Ao Nam Mao, we'll pick you up from the pier at 13:30. The boat docks at the meeting point between 13:30 - 14:00.
Put on your life vests and we set off to the 7 Islands from here.
We'll go snorkeling at Koh Gai or Chicken Island, where you can find some of the best reefs. Do you recognize the shape of the island?
We'll head over to Tup Island where we enter the beach. This is one of the best photo opportunities of this trip. Walk over the natural sandbar at Talay Waek that connects 2 islands. An amazing location with views that come straight out of a magazine.
We'll also visit Mor Island, one of the islands connected to Tup Island. The beach here is great for some relaxing and swimming.
At Poda Island (one of the largest around here), you can visit the beach for some relaxing and swimming in crystal clear water.
Here you can go snorkeling at the small island next to Poda. We'll also visit Koh Si, a rocky island with many underwater caves and reefs.
Next we'll visit Railay Beach. Relax on the beach and enjoy a tasty sunset BBQ at a beachside restaurant here.
After dinner it's time to go swimming with plankton. Enjoy an early evening swim with bright blue plankton around you.
At around 19:00, it's time to return to the pier.
Our drivers will be waiting for you on your return. A day full of sights and memories never to forget!

For dinner you can expect a delicious Thai-style BBQ buffet. You’ll have several (halal) choices like a curry, Pad Thai, stir fried, rice, fish and meat. The food is halal. If you have any specific food allergies, please let us know prior to booking this tour.
Visitors from Railay can join the tour by taking a longtail ferry service (100 THB per shared boat) from Railay East Pier to Ao Nam Mao Pier. You will need to self-arrive to Ao Nam Mao before 13:30. We will drop you off there as well as it is the last stop. If you are staying at Centara Grand Resort, you can take the hotel shuttle boat to Ao Nam Mao Pier, from where we can pick you up. A reservation might be necessary.
The best time to visit the 7 Islands is after the rainy season when the waters are calm. This is usually the case between November - March, but weather conditions may vary. You’ll find clear waters during the hot season in April and May, but make sure to bring sunscreen as it can be very hot!
Yes, it is totally safe. They are minuscule animals and swimming with them feels a bit weird at the start. It can give you a bit of a rash sensation on your skin, but that will be gone the moment you get out of the water. The stunning views of the bright blue colors is absolutely worth it.
Yes, young children (2-3 years) are welcome to join this tour. Please note that it may be difficult for very small children to get in and out of the longtail boat, as well as for elderly persons. Unfortunately, we do not recommend nor accept very young children (0-1 years) to join.
The 7 Islands sunset tour will run during rainy days if the water is calm enough. If that is not the case, we will reschedule the trip for a calmer day or refund you the deposit (if any).
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date, no questions asked. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.

La verdad no esperábamos gran cosa y lo pasamos muy bien, todo un acierto! Tengo que destacar que íbamos en el barco unas 20 personas eso se agradece porque si no estamos masificados,como nos ha pasado con otros tours. En el barco no había ningún español, eran todos de etnia India, la tripulación, y quizás de alguna etnia diferente. la ruta por las islas está muy bien está cerca de Railey me pareció muy completa nuestro guía que no recuerdo el nombre fue súper amable y nos explicó todo súper bien Las zonas donde hicimos Snorkel nos encantaron había muchos peces y disfrutamos mucho del día por la noche a última hora hicimos lo de la bioluminiscencia que también nos encantó. Fuimos solo cuatro personas las que nos tiramos al mar y genial todo repetiríamos sin ningún tipo de duda
