Enjoy the Private 7 Island Sunset tour – perfect for those who want to enjoy the 7 Islands tour by longtail boat! During this trip, you will have your own boat with a friendly captain, just for your group. We’ll visit the classic 4 Islands and we’ll make extra stops to go swimming with bioluminescent plankton. An amazing experience, especially during half-moon. We’ll go snorkeling at Tang Ming Island and Chicken Island. And you’ll be able to see the beautiful “Talay Waek”, where 2 islands (Tup and Mor Island) are connected by a long stretch of beach. Beautiful views you will never forget!
For this tour, we offer free pickups from Ao Nang (other locations available on request). It’s also possible to book the private 7 Islands sunset tour with pickup from Railay. The extra costs are from THB 500 baht per longtail boat. It’s also possible to extend the tour with BBQ dinner on the beach, where you will join the group of the joint 7 Islands Sunset tour. When the sun starts to set, it’s time to head out to a snorkeling spot where you’ll be able to swim with bioluminescent plankton. An experience to never forget. Itinerary
We'll pick you up from your hotel between 14:30 - 15:00. We'll send you a more accurate time when your booking is received.
We head to the pier where we board the private longtail boat. Put on your life vests and we head to the 7 Islands from here.
Our first stop is at Tup Island, where you can see the famous "Talay Waek": when the tide goes down, a stretch of beach appears between Tup and Mor Islands. Relax here and make sure to shoot some pictures of the amazing views here!
The next stop of the private 7 island sunset tour is Chicken Island or Koh Gai. It's famous for its chicken shape, but mostly because snorkeling is very good here. Enjoy the underwater life or go swimming from the boat.
We pass by Tang Ming. This small uninhabited island is a beautiful scenic spot from the boat. We'll enjoy the scenic view and take photos of the island from the longtail boat.
Poda is where you can relax on a large stretch of beach. The water is shallow, which makes it a perfect spot for little ones to play in the water. Go sunbathing here or swim around the many fish in the waters here. If you didn't pre-book dinner with us, there are local restaurants available here for you to explore.
If you book this tour with a sunset BBQ, we'll take you to a beach on Poda Island where we serve a tasty BBQ (halal or vegetarian options are available). You will join the other guests in the joint tour for just this stop.
Our next stop takes you not far from the shore to go snorkeling with plankton. When it's dark, thousands of illuminating blue lights show up just under the waterline. It may be a bit itchy, but it's definitely worth it. Swim with plankton and be amazed!
The final point of interest of the day is Phra Nang Cave. If there is enough time, you can visit the cave or enjoy the high limestone rocks that surround the beach. If you booked this tour with a pickup from Railay, the tour ends here.
At around 19:00, the private longtail boat heads back to the pier. It's time to say goodbye to the 7 Islands.
Upon return to the pier, our driver will take you back to your hotel for return transfers. You should arrive at 20:00 (Ao Nang) or no later than 20:30 to other destinations.

You can either enjoy a late lunch on Koh Poda at a local restaurant, or join the regular tour group for a BBQ dinner on the beach. The extra costs are THB 200/person. After dinner we board the longtail boat again to resume the tour in private.
Yes, we can pick you up from a meeting point near Railay Beach for this tour for an additional THB 500. The last stop of the tour is also at Railay, which means the tour ends after that stop for your group.
Unfortunately you can't. The longtail boats can be unstable when the wind is strong. The movements are not suitable for an unborn child, therefore we don't allow pregnant women on board.
The best time to visit the 7 Islands is just after the rainy season, which ends in November. Temperatures are pleasant during the months November - March, and the seas are usually calm. The blue skies are perfect for photo opportunities during these months.
Absolutely! The 7 Islands are not too far away from Ao Nang and there is enough to see and do on the way. Your children will love snorkeling and playing on the beach. Please note that the tour ends with a return transfer to your hotel at 19:30. You should arrive no later than 20:00 at your hotel, which means it may be too late for the smallest children.
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date. That means you need to cancel no later than 23:59, 2 days before the tour date. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.
A deposit is required for all private tours if you chose to pay cash on tour option. After you submit your booking, we will send you an email with deposit payment instructions. Please note that your booking is not confirmed until we receive the deposit. This deposit helps us secure the boat and arrange all services specifically for your group.
