Good to know about the 4 islands tour by speedboat
The 4 island tour by speedboat from Krabi is an excellent trip for families and for you if you want to take a short boat ride to the most idyllic islands and beaches that Krabi has to offer. This tour is especially suitable for families with children as the 4 islands are only a short boat ride away from Ao Nang (15-20 minutes) and the kids will love swimming or snorkeling with the fish or build castles on the white sandy beaches. The tour is not suitable for pregnant women due to the movement of the boat, which can be uncomfortable for your little one. The tour does not require any trekking or other physical activities and is the perfect relaxing, sightseeing and snorkeling trip in Krabi & Ao nang!
Itinerary
We pick you up from your hotel or meeting point in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Klong Mueang or Tub Kaek. From here we drive to Nopparat Thara pier. This is the starting point of the 4 islands tour by speedboat. If you're staying at Centara Grand Resort, please take the hotel shuttle boat, arrive at Nopparat Thara Pier no later than 08:30.
We board the speedboat and head towards Railay beach. If we have customers from there, we make a quick stop to pick them up from Railay East Floating Pier.
We head to Tup island with our speedboat. Here you can see Talay Weak (separated beach), where the water is separated by a long stretch of beach during low tide. This is one of those travel magazine photo spots which we will spend approximately 45 minutes here.
Next, we will capture memories with photos at Chicken Island. We will chuckle at the island's amusing rock formation, which uncannily resembles a chicken. The marine life here promises to dazzle us as we snorkel in the clear waters, with colorful corals and reef fish just beneath the surface.
On arrival at Poda island you'll get a delicious Thai lunch in a lunch box. You can enjoy it on the beach with a cold drink and go for snorkeling or swimming afterwards. Explore the largest of the 4 islands.
Our final stop will be PhraNang Cave Beach, with 45 minutes to explore the cave, known for its spiritual significance, and enjoy the fine-grained sand and crystalline waters of the beach.
In the early afternoon it's time to head back to Ao Nang. We take a short speedboat ride of around 20 minutes to make our way back to Nopparat Thara pier.
When we arrive at the pier, our drivers will bring you back to the meeting point or your hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Klong Mueang or Tub Kaek. Customers from Railay will be dropped off at Railay East Floating Pier.

For lunch we prepare a Thay style lunch box for you to enjoy on the beach. There are vegetarian and halal options available, please let us know during checkout if you prefer those options. We also prepare fresh fruits and drinking water during the day.
If it’s just raining, we’ll still go out on this tour as it is a special experience as well to go snorkeling and to visit the 4 islands. When the waves are too high for us to go out with the speedboat, we’ll cancel the tour and offer you an alternative date or refund the paid fees.
Yes you can. If you are staying at Railay beach, we will pick you up from Railay East (floating pier) between 09:20-09:30. If you are staying at Centara Grand Resort, please take a hotel shuttle boat that arrives at Nopparat Thara Pier no later than 08:30. We can pick you up from there and drop you off at the end of the 4 islands tour. Please note that a reservation for this trip may be required.
The best time to visit the 4 islans is between november - february, when the seas are usually calm. You can expect mild temperatures and clear blue skies. This time is also high season, so it gets more crowded in Krabi, Ao Nang and on the 4 islands.
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date, no questions asked. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.
