We bring you to Nopparat Thara Pier, close to Ao Nang. Here we board the private speedboat and make our way to the Phi Phi islands. It's about a 1-hour speedboat journey. As it's a private tour, changes to the itinerary are not a problem. In random order, you will visit the following places if you book the standard itinerary.
In about 1 hour, we arrive at our first stop in the Phi Phi Islands tour. We make our way to Maya Bay and Lohsama Bay. At the famous Maya Bay, it's not allowed to swim, but we can enter the beach to take some photos. At Lohsama Bay you can go swimming or snorkeling to enjoy the underwater life. Please note that Maya Bay & Lohsama Bay are closed between 1 August and 30 September.
This is a unique lagoon with high towering cliffs and crystal-clear water. Jump off the boat for a swim, take pictures and enjoy the surroundings!
We pass Viking Cave, a unique photo opportunity as this cave is inhabited by birds. You'll see the birds' nests right on the cave entrance against the walls of the rocks.
We make a short stop at the famous Monkey Beach, a short strip of beach where monkeys live. Don't feed them please, they can be aggressive when approached with food. It's a nice photo opportunity though!
Another great snorkeling stop is at Bamboo Island. You'll see powdery sands, crystal clear waters on this beautiful island. Go swimming or snorkeling here.
Our private speedboat will head towards the 4 Islands. We pass by Tang Ming. This small uninhabited island is a beautiful scenic spot from the boat. We'll enjoy the scenic view and take photos of the island from the longtail boat.
Poda is where you can relax on a large stretch of beach. The water is shallow, which makes it a perfect spot for little ones to play in the water. Go sunbathing here or swim around the many fish in the waters here. If you didn't pre-book dinner with us, there are local restaurants available here for you to explore.
If you book this tour with a sunset BBQ (optional and can be added on for THB 200/person), we'll take you to a beach on Poda Island where we serve a tasty BBQ (halal or vegetarian options are available). You will join the other guests in the joint tour for just this stop.
Our next stop takes you not far from the shore to go snorkeling with plankton. When it's dark, thousands of illuminating blue lights show up just under the waterline. It may be a bit itchy, but it's definitely worth it. Swim with plankton and be amazed!
At around 19:00, the private speedboat heads back to the pier.
- Drop-off window19:30–20:00
Upon return to the pier, our driver will take you back to your hotel for return transfers. You should arrive at 20:00 (Ao Nang) or no later than 20:30 to other destinations. The private Phi Phi Islands sunset tour by speedboat ends here.

FAQs
Lunch is not included in the price, but we can organize a lunch buffet at Poda Island. The extra costs are THB 200/person. You can also bring your own food and (alcoholic) drinks or visit a restaurant of choice at one of the stops (not included).
Yes you can! For an extra fee starting from THB 1000, our boat can head to Railay Floating Pier at Railay East. We can pick you up from there. Please head to the end of the pier when it's time for your pickup.
Unfortunately you can't. The speedboats can be unstable when the wind is strong. The movements are not suitable for an unborn child, therefore we don't allow pregnant women on board.
The best time to visit the Phi Phi Islands is just after the rainy season, which ends in November. Temperatures are pleasant during the months November - March, and the seas are usually calm. The blue skies are perfect for photo opportunities during these months.
Yes, but there are destinations that are closer than Phi Phi, like the 4 Islands or Hong Islands. The boat ride is about 1 hour, which may be unsuitable for the youngest children. Small children are allowed on this tour, but because of the longer boat ride we generally advise to book one of the other destinations.
Maya Bay & Lohsama Bay closes each year for a few months during rainy season between 1 August and 30 September. We won't be able to dock in the bay to give nature a chance to restore itself. Please note that closing months vary each year, but we'll update our website accordingly.
Yes. Cancelling or moving your booking to another date is free up to 24 hours before the tour starts, and anything you have paid is refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded. If we have to cancel, for example for weather or safety, you can move to another date or take a full refund.
A deposit is required for all private tours if you chose to pay cash on tour option. After you submit your booking, we will send you an email with deposit payment instructions. Please note that your booking is not confirmed until we receive the deposit. This deposit helps us secure the boat and arrange all services specifically for your group. We use secure and reliable payment channels to ensure your information is protected.
To keep the ride safe, this tour is not suitable for pregnant women. If that could apply to anyone in your group, contact us before booking and we will help you find a better fit.
