Description
Are you ready for some adventure? Come rock climbing with us at Railay beach! This half day trip is a perfect introduction to karst rock climbing, but is suitable for both beginners and experienced climbers. This tour runs every day and you can book it with either a morning or afternoon departure. Two way transfers are included from Ao Nang and Krabi Town. If you are staying at Railay beach, we can meet you at our base camp on the west side of Railay. Here you will receive a basic safety instruction. We use top notch safety gear (Black Diamond, CAMP and Mad Rock). We will provide you with a safety helmet, climbing shoes and climbing gear. Our instructors make sure you will be climbing in a 100% safe environment.

Itinerary
The Krabi rock climbing tour starts with a pickup from your hotel. For the morning tour, the pickup is between 07:30 and 08:00. For the afternoon tour, please be ready between 12:30-13:00. We'll take you to the beach in Ao Nang for a short longtail boat ride to Railay beach.
The longtail boat ride to Railay beach takes around 10-15 minutes. When we arrive, it's time to head to the base camp.
Once you have tried on your gear (helmet, harness and climbing shoes), you will receive a basic climbing and safety instruction. After that, it's time to climb up some rocks!
Depending on your skills, we choose a basic or more advanced route up. Our experienced climbing instructors will help you on the way up.
Did you make it to the top! Enjoy the amazing views! On the way down we use abseiling and rapelling techniques.
When you're safely back on the ground, it's time for a cold drink and a longtail ride back to Ao Nang. From here we will bring you back to your hotel in Ao Nang or Krabi town.

Yes, you can join the rock climbing course without prior experience. Our instructors can work with beginners and more advanced climbers and won't push your limits. The climbing course is meant to be a fun and safe experience for everyone.
Meals are not included in the Krabi rock climbing tour. We do provide drinking water. Please bring your own bottle for a fresh refill.
Yes, children aged 5 and above can join the rock climbing experience. For young children we can prepare a simple route, which is a perfect introduction to rock climbing. Our guides are always there to help them out.
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date. That means you need to cancel no later than 23:59, 2 days before the tour date. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.

We tried this out while staying on Railay beach. We didn’t expect anything but after a cool climb we made it all the way up to the cave and viewpoint. We never climbed before so we were quite happy with our achievement haha. The instructors are very nice, the views absolutely stunning from up there. Be sure to bring enough water.
We did this trip in february. It’s a good idea to go climbing in the morning as it’s not that hot yet. We did the afternoon tour and had en enjoyable active afternoon. Good fun and a welcome change from hanging on the beach. Recommended!
